Seller's License for Catching Colorflies Designs Incorporated
After many inquiries, I decided to create a Seller’s License so that you can sell the flowers made from my templates for small business profits! This license only pertains to people who would like to sell for profit the flowers they make using my templates. Personal use of the templates for your family, parties, and events is completely fine without a license. Even if you’re a photographer who wants to shoot pictures in front of the flowers, no license is required. You will only need a license if you plan to sell the flowers for monetary gain.

Q: Why do I have to buy a license to sell your designs?
A: The reason I require a license for my templates when selling for a profit, is because all my work in copyrighted under U.S. law.
Since these designs are my intellectual property, I like to be aware of who is using my designs for profit. Because investing a small fee for the license is required, it also helps bring only those who are serious about selling the flowers. This helps my designs not end up on every ecommerce corner.
And believe it or not, several people have already stolen my work to sell it without a license. Not only have they sold my designs but have also resold the templates as their own work! Sad, but true.
Q: How can I use the designs?
A: Uses include selling the flowers on personal websites, ecommerce sites, social media and local event vendors.
ETSY IS THE ONLY PLACE SELLING THE FLOWERS IS NOT ALLOWED.
Q: Do I have to renew the license?
A: No, this license is a ONE TIME ONLY fee and the license is good on any one of the dozens of flower templates in my shop presently available or future designs that get released. Q: Are any templates included? A: If you’re reading this, you already have access to several templates so purchasing the license is all that stands between you and your small paper flower business! There are other template designs available besides what’s in this book (You saw some examples in the Look Book.) Any other templates you wish to use in the shop can be purchased separately and used under the license. A coupon code is included in the license terms for a discount! Q: Can I resell the templates? A: No. Under NO conditions are the original template designs ever to be resold! I am very protective of my original work. Why? Well, first of all, they are my designs. Secondly, the template collections have taken years to create, and most importantly, this business is my family’s livelihood.
I know you all are too amazing to do such a thing, but I have to include this info. So now that I’ve gone over the rules, let’s talk about the fun side of being a licensed designer!
Q: What are the perks of being a license holder?
A: You will be allowed to purchase and use any design that gets released in the future under this license. If I release 100 more designs in the future, you will be allowed to purchase and use them for your small business! You can be featured as a licensed flower vendor with your location on my blog: MamasGoneCrafty.com This is, of course, completely optional but a great way to get started! You can be regularly featured on my social media with the events and creations you design using the templates.
Combined, my social media channels include well over 20,000 active users (and growing by dozens everyday).
